Love love love ce livre. Les cupcakes sont si mignons!
Bright Eyes, Burning Like Fire. Finaly got round to reading Watership Down. I have wanted to read it since first seeing the film. I did enjoy it, but I was hoping that it was going to add something over the film, but for me it didnt. This is probably a positive factor for the film in that it was so well done in the first place. It brought back memories of sitting in the hall of Richard Avenue School, watching the film at christmas when I was little.
This book was picked for book club, and I was hesitant because everyone is reading it -- like DaVince Code. I really enjoyed it, though you really have to suspend disbelief and the mother in you. "Stay away from that vampire!" I could not put it down, and I thought she captured the intensity of first love, w/ the subtle twist that her beau might lose it and drink her blood. Sounds ridiculous, but it's a fun read.
** spoiler alert ** I did not like the second book as much as the first. I am a die hard Edward Cullen fan, and Jacob just doesn't do it for me. Thsi and the fact that the book was 3/4 Jacob and Bella didn't make me happy.
